Part-Time | Retail, Patient Care & Clinical Skills in One Role

The Role

This is a genuinely varied position where you’ll move between patient interaction, optical retail, reception and clinical support throughout the day.

You’ll be involved in:

• Frame styling and lens recommendations
• Reception and appointment coordination
• Supporting the Optometrists and wider team
• Creating a positive, child-friendly patient experience
• Learning clinical pre-testing including OCT, retinal imaging, visual fields and pressure testing

About You

Whether your background is in optical, retail, healthcare or customer service, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is eager to continue learning and developing their skills.

You’ll bring:

• Confident communication skills
• A positive and adaptable approach
• Comfort working with children and families
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes, including Sunix

Roster

• Thursday: 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm
• Friday: 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:45 am – 2:00 pm

Salary

From the applicable award minimum up to $30.00 per hour depending on experience, plus superannuation and applicable penalties/loadings.
