Optical Retail Assistant – No Optical Experience Needed!

Location: Margate, Redcliffe Peninsula

Dwyer & Ross Optometry has been providing family eye care for over 60 years, helping our patients experience healthy vision for life. We are now looking for a friendly, motivated individual to join our team in a full-time role.

No optical experience? No problem! If you have a background in retail or customer service, we’ll provide the training to help you grow into this role – and even into an optical dispensing career if you’re interested.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Welcoming patients and assisting with front desk reception.
• Handling sales, EFTPOS, HICAPS, and banking transactions.
• Providing outstanding customer service and helping patients find the right frames with confidence.
• Learning our systems quickly and problem-solving on the go.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ A keen eye for fashion and style recommendations 
✅ Strong communication and basic math's skills.
✅ Great time management and the ability to multitask.
