Optical Assistant – Casual

We’re looking for an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team at Alstonville Optometry - and we’re ready for you to start as soon as possible!

This is a flexible role (2-3 days per week, casual) where you’ll work closely with our optometrist and support the retail side of the practice.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with optical screening
• Welcoming and supporting patients through their journey
• Frame styling, adjustments, and lens advice
• Practice administration, bookings, and retail support

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Retail or medical experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong organisation, initiative, and problem-solving skills
• A genuine interest in fashion, eyewear and helping people see better
