Fitzpatrick Optometrists Kingaroy is seeking a Graduate or Experienced Optometrist to join our team in Kingaroy, QLD. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality eye care services to our valued patients, helping them maintain healthy vision and manage any vision-related conditions.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat vision problems
• Prescribing and fitting corrective lenses, such as glasses and contact lenses
• Managing ongoing patient care, including monitoring eye health and providing treatment for conditions like dry eye and glaucoma
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
• Maintaining detailed patient records and following all regulatory and compliance requirements

Modern equipment including:

• Optos Daytona Ultra Widefield
• Optovue  Anterior/Posterior OCT
• Nidek Tonoref 4 in 1

What we're looking for

• Optometry degree and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Therapeutically endorsed
• Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, other healthcare providers, and the wider community
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
• Proficient in the use of optical equipment and patient management software
