Sankey Fraser Eyecare, the only optometry practice in Roma, is seeking an Optometrist to join the team for a 6-month parental leave contract, commencing July.

This is full-scope, community-focused optometry where your clinical decisions matter, and your patient relationships run deep.

The Role

• Deliver comprehensive eye examinations across a diverse patient base
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions using therapeutics
• Provide dispensing support where needed
• Work with advanced equipment including Optos Daytona, Zeiss OCT, Humphrey Visual Field analyser, and autorefractor
• Collaborate with an experienced Optometrist while maintaining clinical independence

About You

• Therapeutically endorsed (or eligible)
• Confident across general optometry and ocular disease management
• Comfortable with dispensing or willing to contribute when required
• Strong communicator who can build rapport within a close-knit community
• Adaptable, self-sufficient, and team-oriented
