Eltham Optical is looking for a part time experienced Optical Assistant or Dispenser to join their busy practice in the heart of Eltham.   

About the role: 

• Three days a week - Monday 9am-5:30pm,  Friday 12pm-5:30pm and Saturday 9am-12:30pm. 
• Monday you may be required to work at a different store, within 13km from Eltham
• Assist patients in the selection of optical frames tailored to their wants and needs
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation
• Provide outstanding customer care 

Skills and Experience: 

Knowing the basics of dispensing will support you in this role, and to support continued growth, training will be provided.

• Experience with multifocal lenses, interpreting prescriptions and a strong understanding of lens properties and types.   
• Ability to check incoming jobs and fitting lenses
• Familiar with Sunix software 
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to build relationships with customers
• Greeting customers and providing great retail service
• Work independently and alongside our passionate team
