Hannaford Eyewear is a multi-award winning independent practice located in the Southern Highlands NSW, and we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate optometrist to join our team.

The Role:

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their career in optometry. You will work closely with our experienced Optometrists to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop clinical skills, and provide excellent patient care. Due to the semi-rural nature of the Southern Highlands, our practice covers most optometric specialities.

 These include:

• Advance ophthalmic dispensing
• Paediatric and behavioural/neurodevelopmental optometry
• Sports vision
• Advanced contact lenses including orthokeratology
• Myopia control
• Aged care
• Ocular disease co-management
• Public health-domiciliary work, school screenings and overseas aid work

We are fully equipped with the following: 

• Humphrey's VFA
• Nidek Duo OCT
• Nidek AL-Scan
• Rodenstock corneal topographer
• Rodenstock DNEye scanner
• Onsite ophthalmic dispensing laboratory
