About the Role: As our Medical Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the practice. Your responsibilities include:
- Appointment Management: Coordinate bookings, assist with triaging urgent appointments, and ensure patients are well-informed about relevant fees.
- Payments & Claims: Accurately process payments, Medicare rebates, and HICAPS claims, and manage daily reconciliations.
- Clinical Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring reports and referrals are processed promptly.
- Practice Administration: Support the team with essential administrative tasks such as invoice filing, stock ordering, and more.
About You: We’re seeking someone who: - Has experience in medical administration or reception (highly regarded).
- Excels in organisation, time management, and customer service.
- Is a strong communicator with high computer literacy (experience with MS Office and practice management software is a plus).
- Has knowledge of Medicare and HICAPS claiming (beneficial but not essential).
- Is professional, well-groomed, and adheres to strict privacy and confidentiality policies.
