The Role

As an Optical Assistant/Dispenser, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with frame and lens selection tailored to their needs.
• Advising on lens options (if qualified as a dispenser).
• Adjusting and repairing spectacle frames.
• Managing appointments and patient scheduling.
• Ordering and checking spectacle and contact lens jobs.
• Conducting pre-testing before optometrist consultations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient practice environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has optical dispensing experience or relevant optical industry experience.
• Is available to work rotating Saturdays and Sundays.
• Can commit to working 4–5 days per week.
• Is eager to learn more about optical dispensing and patient care.
