Leongatha Optometrists is looking for a friendly and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. If you have a passion for people and enjoy delivering outstanding service, we’d love to hear from you!

What We Offer:

• Variable Hours – Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility required to cover leave periods as needed.

• No Weekends or Late Nights – Enjoy a great work-life balance.

• Support & Training – In-house training to ensure your success in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking appointments over the phone and in person.

• Processing payments, including Medicare and Health Fund transactions.

• Assisting customers with frame selection and minor repairs.

• A people person with a positive and friendly attitude.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to make patients feel welcome.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic practice setting.
