We are looking for a passionate and experienced Optical Dispenser to join our dynamic team on a part or full-time basis. The role requires a minimum of 4 days per week with the flexibility to work rotational weekend days.

About the Role:
In this role, you will support our patients in selecting the perfect eyewear solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of patients, offering them tailored advice and ensuring the highest standards of care. 

What You’ll Do:

• Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses to meet their individual needs.
• Take patient appointments and check them in for examinations.
• Support optometrists with pre-testing and other clinical duties.
• Handle orders for spectacle jobs and contact lenses, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ensure the practice is clean and safe by performing regular cleaning and disinfecting duties.
• Help patients understand how to use their eyewear effectively upon collection.

About You:
You have experience in the optical industry, with strong knowledge of frame and lens options. Your customer centric approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and passion for helping others will make you a great fit for our team.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in optical dispensing (private practice experience is highly desirable).
• Optomate Touch software experience is a plus, but training will be provided if you’re unfamiliar.
• Ability to assist patients in selecting eyewear, explaining lens choices, and ensuring accurate orders.
• A positive, friendly attitude and a passion for helping customers and working as part of a team.
