At Karratha Eyecare, we’re seeking a reliable and confident Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. This is a full-time, permanent role in a growing and progressive practice dedicated to delivering high-quality eyecare in the Pilbara.

About the Role:

As the welcoming face of our clinic, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients both in person and over the phone. Your role is vital to ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for every patient.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism

• Coordinating appointments and managing patient flow

• Maintaining patient records and handling Medicare billing

• Communicating with patients, practitioners, and healthcare partners

• Supporting the clinical team with administrative and operational tasks

• Ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and a calm, welcoming environment

What We’re Looking For:

We’re after someone who is organised, personable, and passionate about delivering great service. While medical or optical experience is a plus, we’re open to training the right candidate who brings the right attitude and drive.

Ideal attributes:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Confident with multitasking and using computer systems (experience with clinical software is desirable)

• Friendly and approachable with a strong customer focus

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Committed to confidentiality, professionalism, and ongoing learning
