Carrum Downs Eyecare has proudly supported the local community for over 20 years and is now seeking an Optical Assistant / Dispenser to join our experienced, friendly team.

About the Practice

We are an established, independent optometry practice known for personalised care, long-term patient relationships, and clinical excellence. With over 90 years of combined experience within the team, we balance trusted expertise with modern technology to deliver thoughtful, individualised eyecare.

The Role

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced optometrists and qualified dispensers, supporting patients throughout their eyewear and eyecare journey. You’ll be involved in dispensing, frame styling, patient support, and day-to-day practice flow in a calm, professional setting.

Position Details

• Role: Optical Assistant / Dispenser

• Hours: Part-time or Casual

• Start: Ideally February 2026

• Roster: Monday to Saturday (balanced and discussed collaboratively)

• Pay: $28–$35 per hour + performance bonus scheme
