Fixed Part-Time Hours

Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Thursday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm

Consistent 4 day work week with potential for more days to cover sick and Annual leaves

About the Role

This is a mixed and rewarding role where you’ll support patients through their eye care journey and assist with the day-to-day function of a modern optometry practice. Your responsibilities include:

• Helping patients choose eyewear that suits their prescription, style, and needs
• Supporting optometrists with pre-testing and managing clinic flow
• Learning and assisting with specialty services including Ortho-K, vision therapy, and myopia control
• Handling transactions and processing health fund claims
• Maintaining accurate records and stock presentation

You don’t need to come from an optical background — but you must bring a genuine interest in learning and a professional attitude. We’re looking for someone who is:

• Mature, reliable, and proactive
• Comfortable in a clinical setting and with face-to-face patient interaction
• Quick to learn and open to structured training
• Professional in presentation and communication
• Able to balance warmth with efficiency in a fast-paced environment
