City Optics is launching this August in Wetherill Park’s shopping centre – and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Optical Dispenser to help lead the way.

This is your chance to step into a key leadership role from day one. You’ll oversee daily operations, support your team, and deliver top-tier patient care in a practice that values quality over quotas.

The Role

• Lead daily operations in a 7-day-a-week practice

• Supervise and support staff, guide workflows and team development

• Handle complex dispensing, frame adjustments, and edging

• Liaise with suppliers, manage stock and equipment

• Confidently resolve escalated patient issues

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years dispensing experience

• Skilled in interpreting complex prescriptions and lens solutions

• Experience in lens edging and fitting (preferred, however training will be provided for the right candidate)

• Strong communicator with team leadership experience

• Familiarity with Sunix or similar optical systems

• Comfortable working weekends as part of a rotating roster
