Retail Optical Assistant – Picton Eyecare

About the Role

This is a retail-focused position perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, admin, and helping patients find frames they’ll feel great in. You don’t need prior optical experience - we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

You’ll be:

• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming practice experience
• Assisting with frame selections and general retail sales
• Handling appointments, enquiries, and day-to-day admin
• Learning the basics of prescriptions, measurements, and optical processes
• Supporting the team wherever needed 

What We’re Looking For

• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, reliable, and willing to learn
• Comfortable using computers and picking up new systems
• Social media knowledge is a bonus (not essential)

Availability

You’ll need to be available on:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
Approximately 22–26 hours per week
