RJK Optometry are looking for a passionate and patient-focused individual to join our team, whether you’re new to optics and keen to learn, or an experienced Optical Dispenser ready to bring your skills to a premium independent practice.

This is a flexible opportunity, open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with genuine scope for development including support toward a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing for the right person. (Yes, growth here is real - not just a buzzword.)

About the Role

Depending on your experience, your role may include:

• Delivering a warm, professional, and seamless patient journey
• Assisting patients with frame and lens selection
• Supporting dispensing and optical processes
• Reception, retail support, and day-to-day practice tasks
• Working closely with Optometrists and an experienced dispensing team

If you’re already an Optical Dispenser, your experience will be fully utilised and valued. If you’re starting out, you’ll be supported by qualified dispensers and a team that genuinely enjoys teaching and mentoring.

Skills & Experience

We’re open-minded on background, what matters most is attitude.

• Optical experience welcome but not essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A professional, friendly, and supportive approach with patients
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Motivation to learn, grow and take pride in your work

For experienced dispensers, on the job training or a Certificate IV is highly regarded, and there may be scope to discuss broader responsibilities or future pathways.
