We are seeking an experienced Optical Dispenser to join our high-performing team. This is a varied and engaging role, working closely with optometrists and qualified dispensers to provide exceptional patient experiences.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex and interesting dispensing, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert optical dispensing tailored to individual patient needs
• Assisting with frame selection, stock management, and inventory control
• Working closely with optometrists and the dispensing team to achieve outstanding clinical and visual outcomes
• Processing private health fund claims
• Supporting general administrative and day-to-day practice operations
• Using practice management software (experience preferred)

Opportunity for growth: Experienced dispensers with practice management skills can progress into a hybrid role as interest and skills develop.

About You

You’re an experienced dispenser who enjoys being part of a capable, motivated team and thrives in an independent practice environment.

Ideally, you will:

• Have solid, hands-on experience in optical dispensing
• Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing desirable
• Have strong customer service skills and a patient-first mindset
• Enjoy combining fashion and function when assisting patients with eyewear selection
• Be confident using practice management systems and processing health fund claims
