Digital Marketing Specialist ProVision Eyecare, Mulgrave VIC Part-time, 3 days per week | 6-month fixed term Some digital marketing roles are all about clicks, impressions, and generic campaigns. This isn’t one of them. At ProVision Eyecare, you’ll work directly with independent optometry practices across Australia, helping real small businesses strengthen their digital presence, attract new patients, and grow sustainably within their local communities. This is a hands-on, advisory-focused role suited to someone who enjoys both strategy and execution. Someone who can confidently move between SEO audits, Google Ads conversations, social media strategy, analytics, and practical recommendations that make sense for small business owners. You won’t be hidden behind one brand or one campaign. You’ll partner with a diverse portfolio of independent practices, helping them navigate the ever-changing digital landscape with clarity, confidence, and commercially grounded advice. THE ROLE Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll become a key digital marketing resource for member practices across the ProVision network. Your work will include: - Conducting digital audits across websites, Google Business Profiles, SEO, SEM, and social media
- Providing practical, prioritised recommendations tailored to each practice
- Supporting local SEO strategies and improving online visibility
- Keeping across emerging AI search and generative engine optimisation (GEO) trends relevant to local healthcare businesses
- Advising on Google Ads and Meta Ads campaign performance
- Helping practices transition toward stronger digital-first marketing approaches
- Using analytics and reporting tools to guide decision-making
- Explaining technical concepts in a way that small business owners understand
- Contributing to the evolution of AI-assisted marketing approaches within the business
This role is predominantly member-facing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building just as much as technical marketing work. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR You might come from an agency background, a multi-client environment, or an in-house digital role where you’ve worn multiple hats. We’re looking for someone who brings: - Strong hands-on experience across SEO, Google Ads, and paid social
- Confidence conducting digital audits and translating findings into actionable advice
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Meta Business Suite, and performance reporting
- Commercial thinking and the ability to prioritise what will genuinely move the needle
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts
- Curiosity and enthusiasm around AI tools, AI search, and evolving digital marketing technologies
- A proactive, resourceful approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
