2 Full Time & 2 Part Time Positions Available - Newtown, Sydney

Owl Optometrist is a boutique independent optometry practice that will be opening in the diverse and  bohemian neighbourhood of Newtown.  Located in King Street you will enjoy working in the heart of Newtown with cool shopping of designer boutiques, vintage stores and specialty shops.

Owl Optometrist has a focus on the community, providing friendly and quality customer care, ranging a diverse high end eye wear, and advanced technology ensuring its customers receive the highest quality vision care complimented with designer eyewear.

About the role

Opening in early January 2020 Owl Optometrist is recruiting for a dynamic team who are passionate about providing customer service that will captivate the eclectic mix of customers in the Newtown community.

The role will require you to work circa 38 hours per week, including either Saturday or Sunday.  There is flexibility within the roster for the right candidates.

What is the role?  It is diverse, rewarding, exciting and will offer you the opportunity of a career pathway within independent optometry, assisting us to grow our business from the grass roots.

  • Actively participate in day to day operations of the practice – including assisting patients, sales, practice administration & appointment booking
  • Recommend frame options based on the patient’s prescription, fashion and lifestyle
  • Maintain impeccable practice presentation including merchandising
  • Benefit from in-house and external training to ensure success in this role

Expected commencement date is Monday 2nd December.

About You  

Ideally this role would be suited to a ‘’Newtowner’’ who understands the community and its customers. What our team needs from you is:
